1. How do I wash my pads?
Please refer to our Wash and Care FAQ.
2. How long can a pad last?
It can last for an estimated of 5 years with proper wash and care.
3. How many pads to start with?
We would suggest you get the starter kit (Mermaid’s Starter/ Moonlight’s Starter)with each pad per size, try it out and decide which one(s) you need to top up. We also offer Deluxe set if you are lazy to pick.
4. What are the differences between Mermaid’s and Moonlight’s collection?

5. I spotted some yellow and grey spots on the Mermaid’s pad, is it normal?
Yes, it is normal, they yellow and grey stuff are hemp and cotton seeds unbleached. If you are worried about mold on your pads, dry it under hot son, make sure the pad is dry before you keep them. You can also keep your clean pads in the wet bags and store in a dry place for next use.
6. How to change my pads if I am outside?
Wet bags! Wet bags are handy when we are outside. Just put your soiled pad into our Lamina’s wet bag, wash as usual when you are back at home.
7. Why is your product not wrapped, isn’t that very unhygienic?
We support naked packaging as we believe that packaging generates an enormous amount of waste, with millions of tons ending up in landfills each year. All our products don't come with any form of packaging that is not re-usable. Always wash before your first use.
Cotton Mermaid’s 常见问答
1. 要如何清洗用过的护垫？
- 第一次使用之前一定要清洗一遍。
- 用过的护垫，用洗衣粉/洗衣液搓洗1-2分钟，把护垫内的经血洗干净，然后泡在肥皂水里达4小时以上。在洗衣服之前，把肥皂水搓洗干净，直接放进洗衣机里清洗。晒干，收在干净的地方以便下一次使用。
2. 一片护垫可以用多久？
正常使用，清洗的话，寿命可达5年以上。
3. 第一次使用，需要购买多少片？
我们建议你先买Starter Kit (Mermaid’s Starter/ Moonlight’s Starter)，里头一个尺寸一片，用了之后，再决定你要加什么尺寸的护垫，因为每一个人的月经量都不一样。如果你懒惰挑选，我们也有配好的Deluxe Kit.

5. Mermaid’s 表层有一点一点黄黄灰灰的东西，是发霉了吗？
不是的，这是完全正常的，那是没有漂白过的棉种子还有麻纤维。要防止发霉，每次洗后一定要晒干才可以收起。你也可以把干净的护垫放进我们的透气防水袋Lamina’s wet bag里。
7. 如果在外要的话，用过的护垫要怎样处理?
Wet bags! 我们的Wet Bags 在外是非常好使用的，因为它的防水透气特点，用过的护垫不容易发臭。 直接把用过的护垫折好，放进Lamina’s wet bag里面， 然后带回家洗。
8. 为什么你们的产品都是没有包装的，不是很不卫生吗？
我们支持“裸包装“，因为我们相信产品包装是不必要的，会造成严重环境污染，一年有几千万吨的垃圾都来自于各式各样的产品包装。因此，我们尽可能不包装我们的产品，所以在使用之前一定要清洗。
